On the 19th of January, 2007 Hrant Dink was murdered.

He was an Armenian intellectual, and the strongest voice for peace in Turkey.

What he craved for all his life started to happen after he died. Since that darkest day, tens of thousands of people stand together, march together, and demand for justice from the state.

Peoples gather infront of the building where he was murdered, every year, and remember him at 15:00 hours, when he was shot by an ultra-nationalist.

People defy “darkness” by gathering infront of that building. The darkness which “creates murderer out of babies”, as his wife Rakel Dink had put it.

This year, we were there again. We said:

It’s been 4 years, and Hrant is not here. It’s been 4 years, and the court is not here. It’s been 4 years, and they have no shame.

It’s been 4 years… and they have chairs, yet no justice.
