Today, over 7000 web sites, including YouTube, MySpace, Vimeo; are banned in Turkey.
These sites are censored on the basis of vague or antediluvian laws and regulations.
In the name of protecting “the regime”, Atatürk, or the “dignity of the state”, we -the people- are restricted from engaging in the free circulation of information.
